Under the strict review, GRG Metrology & Testing Group Co., Ltd. (GRGT, 002967.SZ) has been approved the certification by BMW Brilliance for the 2023 abnormal noise and environmental reliability testing and evaluation recently, becoming one of the few domestic third-party institutions that can perform environmental abnormal noise testing and evaluation with warehouse.
Abnormal noise, also known as BSR (Buzz, Squeak and Rattle), refers to the unpleasant abnormal sound produced from the automotive during operation, belonging to the critical item in the technical field of NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness). The abnormal noise will bring a bad driving experience to the driver and passengers. With more emphasis in the driving experience, low noise has become an important inspection item for consumers in the test drive. BMW attaches great importance to the NVH issues, so as to the third-party testing institutions that are capable to perform NVH testing.
GRGT has become one of the few domestic third-party institutions that can perform environmental BSR testing and evaluation with warehouse through this qualification, which is also another breakthrough after the subsidiary of GRGT was approved by Ford and X-Peng. GRGT has been approved by nearly 50 OEMs covering Europe, America, Japan, South Korea and domestic mainstream brands, serving more than 9,000 companies of automobile and relevant parts.
